PURPOSE
The purpose of Japan Dance Therapy Association (JADTA) is to develop communication among
dance therapists and the people concerned with dance therapy, to inform
the role and its techniques of dance therapy, and to promote dance
therapy in mental health and the community-at-large.
ACTION
1.Newsletter(Japanese): We introduce the newest information of dance
therapy. They are, domestic & Foreign topics, articles &
references, and interview with special persons, and so on. (four times a year)
2.Regular Meeting : Lectures and workshops on special theme will be given. (every month)
3.Annual Conference : General meeting, Presentations of our studies and various workshops will be given.

PROFILE
JADTA is non-profit organization founded at Tokyo in 1992.
The number of members is 260 at present.
The qualification system for dancetherapist started in 1999, and two more qualifications, associate dancetherapist and dance therapy leader, started in 2005. The Japanese term "dancetherapist" has been our registered trademark since 2007.
